How will you make an impact: eSourcing is the process of collecting and evaluating bids from different suppliers, using an online or web-based solution, to select a preferred provider. This role will provide subject matter expertise to run eSourcing events to support global procurement partners and ultimately generate significant cost savings that will impact the company’s bottom line. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a high-velocity environment to properly support the organization to achieve the desired results. What will you do? Work closely with the eSourcing Team to ensure a comprehensive, structured and a collaborative eSourcing execution process Setup and execute eSourcing events covering RFx and eAuctions using an online platform: Receive and validate requests Conduct requirements gathering Support internal and external analyses for project scoping Propose e-Sourcing event configuration strategies based on knowledge, leading practices, and specific bidding characteristics of the event, for optimal event outcome Configure and run events using the eSourcing platform Conduct category/supplier training as needed Consolidate and evaluate supplier responses Compile supplier bids to provide eSourcing event results Analyze results and generate reports on event outcomes Monitor supplier behaviour during events Develop category specific sourcing templates, using the existing infrastructure Consult with Category Teams to improve eSourcing event success Coordinate supplier communication – award/non-award notifications and escalations Follow up on functional & technical issues accordingly Track and publish e-Sourcing metrics and reporting Drive sourcing strategy improvements, achieve efficiencies and optimize effectiveness of sourcing events Embrace innovation to find a better way every day How will you get here? Education and Experience Experience in a procurement-related role 2+ years of procurement/sourcing experience Demonstrated consultative/collaborative style in performing sourcing activities Experience in project management, category management and sourcing preferred Experience in implementing and executing eSourcing is preferred. Experience in life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries preferred Degree in business administration, engineering, supply chain management, or related field. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities High English language proficiency (Written and verbal) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to gather, interpret and analyze data Customer-oriented focus Excellent communication skills Be open and flexible to accept changes Self-starter, sense of urgency and works well under deadlines Very organized and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Work well in a team setting and able to work without close supervision Independent worker with the ability to track and manage own deadlines. Be able to establish meaningful collaborative working relationships Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook
