1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using ActiveJobs ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. About the Service
ActiveJobs is a direct-to-company job aggregator. We automatically index and aggregate publicly available job listings from companies' own career pages and present them in a searchable, filterable interface. When you click "Apply on Company Site", you are taken directly to the company's posting; we do not act as a recruitment agency, do not handle applications on the company's behalf, and take no fee from either side.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- No registration is required. You can browse, filter, and save jobs locally without creating an account. Account-based features such as email alerts are not currently available.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Systematically copy or bulk-extract our aggregated data without written permission.
- Use the Service to send spam, harass other users, or post content that is illegal, infringing, or otherwise unlawful.
- Interfere with or attempt to compromise the security, availability, or integrity of the Service.
- Submit false reports through the "Report" feature. False reports waste moderator time and may result in access being blocked.
5. Job Listings — No Warranty
Job listings are sourced from third-party career pages. We make reasonable efforts to keep them accurate and current, but:
- We do not verify the accuracy, legitimacy, or current status of any listing.
- A listing may have been filled, withdrawn, or amended on the company's side before our next check.
- You apply to roles entirely at your own risk and discretion. Any contract you enter into is between you and the company, not ActiveJobs.
6. Reporting Illegal or Improper Content
Every job card includes a "Report" button. We accept reports only from corporate email addresses belonging to the company that published the listing — this prevents abuse and ensures reports come from people with legitimate standing. We review reports promptly. If a listing breaches the law or these Terms, we will remove it.
7. Intellectual Property
Job listings themselves are the intellectual property of the publishing companies. The structure, design, code, and aggregated presentation of the Service are owned by ActiveJobs and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and database rights laws. You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only.
8. Links to Third-Party Websites
The Service links extensively to company career pages and applicant tracking systems. We have no control over those sites and accept no responsibility for their content, privacy practices, or actions. Your use of any linked site is governed by that site's own terms.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ActiveJobs and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
11. Changes to the Service
We may add, change, or remove features at any time, with or without notice. We may also suspend or discontinue the Service in whole or in part.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be signalled by updating the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Access Suspension
We may suspend or block your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms other users or third parties.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
