You will provide comprehensive health and wellness services in alignment with established Global Medical Priorities, Health System Key Elements North America Medical and site-specific objectives, goals, strategies, and measures. You will play a key role in collaborating with other team members to provide site health and safety needs for our employees. You will support site assessment audits, site risk analysis, and an occupational health management plan to support the health services. In addition, you will own delivering nursing care including prompt medical emergency response, prevention, treatment and follow-up for both occupational and non-occupational illness/injuries. You role will be focused on delivering medical care to employees following established clinical guidelines. This involves routine care for injuries and illnesses, medical testing, procedures and emergency care. Collaborates to ensure efficient flow of employee visits and unit operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Provide Occupational Health practices in accordance with company standards and all applicable regulations in the Province of Ontario. Provide emergency care/technical support to site emergency response planning including but not limited to, medical emergency response, crisis management. Work with third party vendors to facilitate health services programs and resources based on business needs. Attain/maintain current knowledge of the site risks/hazards including ergonomics. Manage and maintain confidential P&G electronic medical records and off-site paper records as required by law. Maintains medical directives related to your nursing practice and in compliance with the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice for RNs and under the direction of the site contract physician. Experience working with external business partners related to disability case management including STD, LTD and WSIB. Strong communication, problem solving, interpersonal and computer skills. Literacy in a Windows environment, utilizing Word, Excel and Outlook PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE OR CERTIFICATIONS: Preferred minimum of 2 years of occupational health experience or (3) years in a critical care or emergency department setting COHN or COHN-S preferred or working towards Knowledge of applicable Ontario Laws and Regulations related to Occupational Health JUST SO YOU KNOW: Ability to attend meetings, trainings and conferences that may require travel. Must be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
