This Position reports to: IS Department Manager for Compliance and Risk Advisory JOB PROFILE SUMMARY Responsible for the successful development, implementation, and continuous improvement of security measures within ABB. The role ensures protection against rapidly evolving cybersecurity threats by safeguarding critical information systems, maintaining robust security infrastructure, and driving compliance across the organization. The position plays a key role in both security operations and risk advisory, ensuring ABB’s IT environment remains secure, resilient, and compliant. The work model for the role is: #LI‑Hybrid This role contributes to Information Systems (IS) organization, person will be work on global projects withs stakeholders from different countries where ABB operates (including ABB India). Your Role and Responsibilities Serve as an Information Security Senior Specialist within the Compliance and Risk Advisory team, supporting enterprise-wide security and compliance needs. Ensure adherence to ABB IS policies, procedures, and SRC requirements, providing expert guidance across IT and business units. Drive stakeholder engagement and collaboration, ensuring effective communication and alignment on security initiatives. Manage security administration and access controls, including defining roles, privileges, and ensuring process compliance. Foster continuous improvement by leveraging emerging technologies and evaluating solutions for efficiency, value, and feasibility. Qualifications for the role 5+ Years of experience in IT Security, Compliance and Risk Advisory Bachelors or Masters in IT Discipline Mandatory Certifications : CISA and/or CISM and/or CRISC Preferred Certifications : CISSP, ITIL Foundation Building a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
