This Principal Financial Analyst role is the strategic & business partner to the US Commercial organization and reports Endoscopy Finance Director. This role will be responsible for supporting the US Commercial organization, providing forward looking revenue analysis and scenario modeling that informs strategic and operational outcomes. This role will collaborate and help drive revenue growth, pricing, margin and inventory initiatives, and new product launches etc. This role will also be expected to step into IBP at various points in the process and will be the primary contact for revenue forecasting. This is an onsite role located at our Mounds View, MN campus. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Serve as the strategic finance partner to the US Commercial organization Deliver actionable sales and profitability insights through data-driven analysis to accelerate revenue and margin growth Lead revenue forecasting, variance analysis, and annual planning for US business. Identify risks and opportunities and help drive actions to meet revenue commitments Partner with Marketing and Operations to develop and execute pricing and margin improvement initiatives Serve as a key finance contributor to IBP, including supply/demand alignment, allocations, and inventory management (lifecycle management, rationalization) Develop field revenue quotas and deliver performance-to-quota reporting and analysis Proactively navigate change and adapt analyses and priorities to evolving business needs Support long-range planning and investment decisions through strategic scenario modeling and business case analysis Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 5+ years) Nice to Have: BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize, improve processes, and multi-task, in a high-paced environment Strong business acumen: ability to learn/understand the business and influence key stakeholders at various management levels to drive and increase value to the organization Positive attitude, with a high degree of initiative and accountability Motivated to work independently with limited manager oversight Preference is for position to be based onsite in MN MBA/CPA Excellent written/oral communication, presentation and influencing skills Experience with MDT financial/reporting systems (SAP, Hyperion, CMR, SPEND, BOXI) and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$110,400.00 - $165,600.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
