Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution. Must have skills : Microsoft Azure DevOps Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires overseeing the development of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. Throughout the day, the lead monitors testing processes, manages key performance metrics, and facilitates effective communication across teams to ensure smooth test execution and timely resolution of defects, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and team productivity. - Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge. - Coordinate with stakeholders to align quality objectives with project goals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps. - Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies within complex application environments. - Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, testing principles, and defect management processes. - Ability to define and track key quality metrics to assess testing effectiveness and product quality. - Familiarity with integrating testing tools and automation frameworks within DevOps pipelines. - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
