This role requires active participation in defining detailed requirements and designing applications that align with business processes. The position demands continuous engagement with cross-functional teams to ensure that the developed applications meet the intended objectives and support organizational goals. Throughout the day, the engineer balances technical design considerations with practical business requirements, fostering innovation and efficiency in software development. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to align software design with evolving business strategies and objectives. - Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical team members to ensure clarity and shared understanding. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Project Management (PM), Workday Financial Accounting Core. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Financial Accounting Core. - Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management within Workday environments. - Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements. - Experience in coordinating cross-team collaboration to drive project success. - Familiarity with software design principles and application architecture in enterprise settings.
