Application Engineer II

Job description

This role supports sales opportunities through technical expertise by providing advanced (Level 3) assistance, presenting and positioning company products, and building strong relationships with customers. It involves developing and delivering product demonstrations, technical training, and detailed documentation such as application notes, methods of procedure, and scope of work documents, while also reviewing engineering materials for accuracy. The position acts as a subject matter expert in customer-facing events and collaborates closely with sales teams by responding to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, including creating system diagrams and bills of materials. Additionally, it requires cross-department coordination to resolve customer needs, providing project updates, handling special assignments, and engaging directly with customers to help drive opportunities toward successful sales outcomes.
