Any workday certification is preferred, but not mandatory Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects by coordinating efforts, managing deliverables, and serving as the main liaison for stakeholders. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous collaboration with team members to ensure the successful implementation and deployment of solutions that meet business needs. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Maintain and enhance existing applications by troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements. - Document design processes, configurations, and code changes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance. - Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Studio. - Experience in designing and developing integrations using Workday Studio. - Strong understanding of application configuration and deployment processes. - Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting integration issues within Workday environments. - Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
