Learn more about RayzeBio: https://careers.bms.com/rayzebio/ Director, Commercial Operations Process & Orchestration The Director, Commercial Operations Process & Orchestration will lead the business processes and operating workflows needed to support RayzeBio’s RPT launch and commercialization. This role will focus on how work gets done across treatment site onboarding, patient services hub, ordering, scheduling, distribution visibility, issue resolution, and customer experience. This is a business operations role, not an IT role. The Director will define business needs, process flows, requirements, priorities, and measures of success. They will partner closely with IT, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure systems and workflows support the business, are easy to use, and are ready for launch. The role will serve as the Commercial Operations business owner for key workflows and enabling platforms, with accountability for business readiness, user adoption, process performance, and business acceptance before major releases. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and improvement of commercial operations workflows across the RPT value chain. Define how key processes should work, including site onboarding, patient services hub, ordering, scheduling, distribution visibility, issue management, and customer support. Translate business needs into clear process flows, requirements, priorities, and acceptance criteria for IT and vendor partners. Represent Commercial Operations in system and process governance discussions. Partner with IT and vendors to ensure tools and platforms support business needs and are fit for purpose. Prioritize business requirements, enhancements, and process improvements based on launch needs, customer impact, operational risk, and business value. Ensure new workflows, tools, and system changes are tested, adopted, and accepted by the business before release. Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Market Access, Patient Services, IT, and external partners to support launch readiness. Identify process gaps, handoff issues, customer pain points, and operational risks; drive resolution through clear ownership and escalation. Support treatment site readiness by ensuring onboarding workflows, tools, data, and cross-functional handoffs are clear and scalable. Partner with supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution teams to improve visibility across ordering, fulfillment, routing, delivery, and issue resolution. Drive user adoption through training, communication, feedback loops, and continuous improvement. Track key process and performance metrics, including cycle times, reliability, adoption, customer experience, issue resolution, and data quality. Leverages AI to drive program, portfolio, or functional performance through prioritization and scaled adoption Core Capabilities Business process ownership Commercial operations launch readiness Cross-functional execution Requirements definition and prioritization Customer experience improvement Process mapping and workflow design Operational visibility and issue resolution Vendor and IT partnership Change management and user adoption Matrix leadership Data-informed decision-making Comfort operating in ambiguity Basic Qualifications BA/BS required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in biopharma, with experience in commercial operations, launch readiness, business process design, customer operations, supply chain operations, patient services, or cross-functional operations. Oncology launch experience required; experience with complex or advanced modalities such as RPT, cell therapy, gene therapy, or specialty products preferred. Strong experience leading cross-functional business processes across commercial, medical, supply chain, manufacturing, IT, and external partners. Experience working with operational systems, customer portals, ordering or scheduling tools, dashboards, or data-enabled workflows in partnership with IT. Ability to translate business needs into process flows, requirements, priorities, user stories, and success metrics. Strong execution mindset with the ability to create structure, manage ambiguity, identify risks, and drive decisions. Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and work effectively in a matrixed organization. Strong customer and patient orientation, with a focus on simple, reliable, and scalable operations. Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. Compensation Overview: San Diego - RayzeBio - CA: $219,660 - $266,177 The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience.
