In this role, you'll serve as the dedicated People Partner for Figma's Japan & APAC region, working closely with leaders across the regions (mostly GTM teams across Sales, Marketing, and Product Support) in Singapore, Japan, India, and Australia. You’ll help the organisation scale effectively by strengthening leadership capability, shaping organisational design, and aligning talent strategy to business priorities. You’ll also collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across the People Team, including functional People Partners, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning & Development, BEI, and People Relations, to drive high-impact initiatives that support the business. This role offers the opportunity to build and shape how people strategy, leadership culture, and talent practices evolve across multiple markets, and at a pivotal stage in the region's growth. This is a full-time role based in our Singapore hub. What you'll do at Figma: Act as the primary People Partner presence for Japan & APAC - the first point of contact for leaders across levels, functions, and markets, bringing local context & understanding, and regional business understanding to your partnerships Work closely with functional People Partners to support the continued scaling of the teams in region by evolving team structures, roles, and operating models in line with business growth. Serve as the regional connector between functional People Partners and regional business leaders - translating global people priorities into locally relevant solutions Coach senior leaders to strengthen leadership capability, team effectiveness, and performance in a high-growth, target-driven environment Identify and address organisational friction points by improving cross-functional alignment and operational clarity across teams, proactively surface and embed regional context in your work with partners Embed as a key partner across cross-functional stakeholders, including functional People Partners, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning & Development, BEI, and People Relations, to drive and deliver high-impact people initiatives Leverage data, organisational insights, and employee feedback to proactively inform decisions and drive measurable improvements in team health, effectiveness, and performance Develop and drive a Japan & APAC people strategy that reflects both the region's stage of growth and its commercial priorities - balancing the need to build scalable people foundations across multiple markets with strong alignment to the global GTM pillar and broader Figma people strategy Explore and embed AI tools and approaches that extend your reach and impact across the region - whether through smarter use of people analytics, scaled manager enablement, or more efficient ways of working - and share learnings with the broader People Partner team We’d love to hear from you if you have: 8+ years of HR / People experience, including significant experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders in a high-growth company Multi-jurisdiction APAC experience - practical working knowledge of employment law, cultural norms, and people practices across multiple jurisdictions Generalist capability - demonstrated experience spanning Employee Relations & Operations, as well as strategic business partnering Experience partnering with GTM or revenue organisations (Sales, Marketing, and/or Product Support), with an understanding of go-to-market dynamics Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, including when operating remotely from CoEs Experience supporting globally distributed teams and working effectively in a shared People Partner model with counterparts in other regions While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:</stro
