About the Role We're looking for an experienced Customer Operations Supervisor to help build and lead one of our German-speaking Customer Operations teams in Budapest. This is much more than a traditional people management role. You'll combine strong operational expertise with people leadership, becoming both a technical subject matter expert and an inspiring leader for your team. Working across complex end-to-end order fulfilment processes, you'll help drive operational excellence, coach and develop colleagues, resolve challenging operational issues, and continuously improve the customer experience. Working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing and Customer Care teams, you'll help remove operational roadblocks, monitor business performance, coach colleagues, and continuously improve the way we support our customers. What You'll Do Lead, coach and develop a German-speaking Customer Operations team based in Budapest Act as the operational escalation point for complex customer and order-related issues Monitor operational performance, KPIs and service levels while driving continuous improvement Review operational reports and proactively identify risks, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Customer Care teams Ensure accurate execution of order management and customer support processes Drive employee engagement, development and performance management Promote collaboration, accountability and customer focus across the team Support operational excellence initiatives and process optimisation projects What We're Looking For Fluent German and English, both written and spoken Minimum 4–5 years of people leadership experience Previous experience leading customer service, customer operations or order management teams within a multinational or Shared Services environment Strong SAP knowledge and confidence working within operational processes Experience managing KPIs, service levels and operational performance Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to coach, motivate and develop people through periods of change Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Ability to balance operational priorities while maintaining a positive team culture Nice to Have Supply Chain or Logistics experience Salesforce or CRM exposure Process improvement or Operational Excellence experience Experience supporting transition or knowledge transfer projects What Makes Someone Successful?
