This Position reports to: Head of Design,Architecture&Integration We are seeking the SME Jr Process Architect for Procure to Pay (P2P) Process, this person will support the development of finance business process architecture and solutioning for the Payments Process covering all relevant global finance applications. Under the guidance of the P2P Process Solution and Data Architect, this role will contribute to translating business requirements into effective system solutions in collaboration with functional architects of related finance applications and business stakeholders. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Finance Services business Finance Process Data Systems division in Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for: Support the design and architecture of finance process systems and tools for the Procure to Pay (P2P) Process covering relevant Global Finance Systems of ABB. Assist in reviewing and evaluating new solutions (including updates to existing solutions) to be implemented in ABB Global Finance applications, ensuring design integrity, security and compliance of finance processes. Participate in business requirements discussions, demonstrating good understanding of system capabilities and how finance applications can be configured to meet business needs. Support the definition of functional solutions and ensure alignment with other modules and surrounding IS applications through collaboration with functional architects and IS delivery units. Participate in solution workshops with stakeholders to assess which requirements can be met by available standard functionalities, which require enhancements, and which can be addressed through workarounds. Support the validation and prioritization of incoming business demands relating to finance applications, in collaboration with relevant Group Process Owners (GPOs), Application Managers, and ERP Domain Leads. Assist in developing and maintaining Finance systems process design documents related to the P2P Process. Support incident management activities by identifying recurring defects and assisting in root cause analysis and corrective actions. Support process improvement initiatives and system architecture assessments in collaboration with senior architects. Qualifications for the role: Education: Bachelor's degree or post-graduation in Economics, Finance, Management, Business Engineering, or related field. Basware SAP FICO or S/4HANA ideally in Central Finance is desirable. Experience: 5+ years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, or business operations with hands-on experience in ERP systems. Relevant experience in process analysis, design, or support within Procure to Pay or similar finance processes. Proven track record of process mapping and documentation using standard tools and methodologies. Experience working collaboratively across functional and technical teams. Technical Skills: Good understanding of P2P process flows, procurement workflows, and vendor management. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, particularly P2P-related modules (MM, FI-AP), SAP Ariba. Familiarity with system integration methodologies and data flow concepts. Proficiency with process mapping and visualization tools (e.g., Signavio, Celonis) is an advantage. Functional & Analytical Skills:Sound understanding of financial accounting related to Payments process and related nuances. Analytical capabilities to analyze complex processes and recommend improvements. Good problem-solving skills to address functional issues efficiently. Communication & Stakeholder Management: Ability to communicate technical and functional concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders. Effective listening and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work collaboratively across functional and technical teams.
