This position reports to: Trade & Transportation Leader __ Your Role: Own the Challenge In this role, you will be responsible for managing local import and export operations. On a daily basis, you will oversee the performance of customs brokers and ensure the smooth execution of trade and customs activities within the local unit. This includes maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations. The work model for the role is: On site This role is contributing to the {insert product group/business area/division/function} in {insert region}. Main stakeholders are {insert main stakeholder groups if available}. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the main point of contact for customs brokers, providing clarification on topics such as product valuation and classification Audit customs brokers to ensure the accuracy of customs entries, invoicing, and document archiving Manage required documentation and online systems to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant import/export operations Maintain and share up-to-date knowledge of import/export regulations, including tariffs, duties, licenses, and restrictions, with relevant stakeholders Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in import/export operations and customs regulations Experience with Annex 24 and 30 Knowledge of CIVA, IMMEX, PROSEC, and USMCA (TMEC) Experience in inventory reconciliation processes Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel Advanced English and Spanish skills (written and verbal) Experience in process improvement using tools such as Power BI, Excel macros, etc., is a plus Experience applying AI tools in daily work is a plus Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Commerce, or a related field We also offer our employees the following benefits: Performance Bonus Saving fund Paid parental leave Life insurance Retirement plan Health and dental insurance Wellbeing program Flex days Employee Assistance Program (PAE) Access to development platforms: Spark, Harvard Manager Mentor and English Learning EF English Live School (EF) Building a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
