Job description

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world! Responsibilities: Lead implementation and adoption of the T.I.M.E.™ (Thermoplastic Injection Molding Excellence) methodology at the site. Drive standardized practices across process development, validation, monitoring, control, and sustainment. Support development of robust, repeatable injection molding processes using scientific molding principles. Guide and support validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ. Ensure appropriate use of DOE, process characterization, and operating window definition. Reinforce adherence to established process standards and eliminate workaround-based practices. Provide troubleshooting support to Engineering and Operations to resolve process variation and instability. Support restoration of validated process conditions following deviations or changes. Analyze process and metrology data (e.g., LSL/USL, variation, trends) and drive corrective actions. Partner with cross-functional teams on DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and process improvement initiatives. Drive reduction of scrap, variation, and non-conforming product. Provide training and coaching to site teams on T.I.M.E.™ methodology and scientific molding principles. Build internal capability to sustain standardized practices across shifts and teams. Support tracking of site maturity (e.g., SIM progression) and continuous improvement efforts. Ensure required documentation, standards, and records are completed and maintained. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field. Materials Engineering preferred. Master Molder® II certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months). Minimum 5 years of experience in injection molding process engineering. Working proficiency in English. Level B2+ preferred. Experience in process development, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and manufacturing operations. Strong knowledge of DOE (Design of Experiment), scientific molding, and process optimization. Ability to analyze and interpret statistical and process data. Strong problem-solving, coaching, and influencing skills.
