Must have skills : SRE Observability Good to have skills : AWS Administration, Infrastructure As Code (IaC), Platform Engineering Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding the technical vision and architectural framework for bespoke software projects. This role requires steering teams through the entire lifecycle of design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet high standards. The position demands continuous oversight to maintain scalability and performance, aligning technical outcomes with broader business goals. Collaboration across various teams and stakeholders is a key aspect, fostering an environment where innovation and quality are prioritized throughout the software delivery process. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure consistent code quality. -Build and maintain IaC templates and Golden Path scaffolding for new projects - Design and implement target observability stack — CloudWatch, X-Ray, CloudTrail, alerting - Define SLOs, SLAs - Establish SRE practices — on-call, incident response, runbooks Define outage classification framework — bugs vs infra changes vs traffic peaks Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SRE Observability. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with AWS Administration, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure As Code (IaC), CloudWatch, X-Ray, CloudTrail, SRE practices - Strong expertise in monitoring and alerting frameworks to ensure system reliability and performance. - Ability to analyze complex system behaviors and implement observability solutions that provide actionable insights. - Experience with automation tools and scripting to streamline operational tasks and incident response. - Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment practices to support scalable and resilient software environments.
