Summary of Position: We are seeking an SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) professional with strong functional expertise in Order-to-Cash processes, with particular focus on equipment-based sales, serial and batch-controlled products, and complex pricing and contract management. This role supports and enhances SAP capabilities in a global environment, ensuring solutions align with business requirements and effectively enable sales execution and revenue processes. The position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to drive consistent and scalable SAP solutions. We are looking for an SAP SD S/4HANA expert with strong functional expertise across Order-to-Cash processes with particular focus on contracts, pricing and revenue recognition, as well as a good working knowledge of equipment, serial and batch master management. The ideal candidate should have good general hands-on experience in end-to-end SAP SD processes. Any experience working with interfaces to/from 3rd party systems and of middleware mapping documentation would be beneficial. Key Responsibilities: Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for the IT System. Creating high quality, detailed functional specification and mapping documentation. Creation and execution of system test scripts. Creating system documentation and delivery of training to end users or peers. Ensuring that project/enhancement work is delivered to agreed timelines, cost and quality expectations. Supporting equipment sales and serialized product handling scenarios within SAP. Functioning as part of the scrum team using Agile methodologies to deliver SAP enhancements in monthly sprints. Participating in S/4HANA project initiatives, supporting code remediation, data validation, functional testing, and defect resolution. Supporting unit testing, integration testing, UAT, cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-go-live hypercare. Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in business/technical stream and SAP knowledge in specified module(s)/process areas. SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution certification is strongly preferred. Experience: 3-5 Years of SAP SD experience resulting in strong understanding of SAP SD module functionalities, including but not limited to sales order processing, pricing, delivery, billing, and credit management. Proven experience delivering SAP solutions in global template environments, supporting localization and customization across multiple countries and regions. Some prior experience in working with small – mid size teams will be an added advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving business value through technology solutions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Solid understanding of equipment, serial, batch master data and integration with SD/MM processes. Strong communication/inter-personal skills for collaborative interaction with business users & cross-functional/technical team members. Ability to work independently and drive deliverables according to the timelines. Experienced in preparation and execution of Unit Testing, Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Strong experience in translating business requirements into technical capabilities and solutions. Working knowledge of Equipment, Serial Number, Batch Master Management. Strong functional and configuration knowledge in SAP SD module Sales Documents: Sales Document Header, Sales Document Item, Sales Documents, Schedule Line, Contracts, and Scheduling Agreements Pricing: Condition table, Condition type, Access sequence, Pricing procedure, and Condition record Order Management: Creation of Sales documents - Inquiry, Quotation, Sales order (standard order, rush order, cash sales, service order, returns), Deliveries (outbound & inbound), Billing, Invoicing Credit memo, Debit memo; Configuration and implementation of SAP LE process, covering the complete range of functionalities like master data uploads. Working knowledge of interfaces (SAP to SAP and SAP to Non-SAP) Experience in analysing IDOC issues. Flexibility in accommodating work according to project deadlines and business needs.
