This position reports to: Team Leader __ Bid manager for Automation At the Operational Center Europe with branch offices in Plzeň or Ostrava, we are looking for a candidate for the position “Bid manager.” In this role, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive proposals for solutions in the fields of automation, digitization, and Industry 4.0. What awaits you: Bid Management of automation offers in the Energy Sector (mainly covering Offshore, FPSO, Offshore Wind, Offshore Electrification, and Subsea Electrification) Responsibility for the bid during the whole sales phase, from opportunity until signing the contract Preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Business Unit and Sales organization directives Cost definition for the proposed solution and communication with the Sales organization Ensuring timely and proactive communication and interface with customers Set up and collaborate with ABB group functions (from technical and commercial areas) Analysis of project proposals and cost plans and prepare for risk review What we expect: Experience with bid management/tendering or project management, orientation in technical sales Professional English written and spoken (B2) High responsibility and accountability, precision in delivering on time and in requested quality Good communication skills, customer oriented approach Desire to win/ highly organized. Ability to work independently, but with a strong team-oriented attitude Knowledge about market requirements and standards within the industry is positive.
