How We Will Make an ImpactAs a Supplier Relationship Manager II, you will independently manage supplier relationships and performance for assigned suppliers or service categories within the Clinical Research Group. You will drive performance improvement, resolve operational issues, and partner cross-functionally to ensure suppliers meet cost, quality, delivery, and compliance expectations. This role represents a fully accountable SRM contributor with increasing exposure to strategic suppliers and customer-facing interactions. What We Will DoSupplier Relationship & Performance ManagementOwn day-to-day supplier relationship management for assigned suppliers or categories. Translate business and study requirements into measurable supplier performance objectives. Lead routine supplier performance reviews and drive corrective and preventive actions. Identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities across supplier performance. Operational ExcellenceApply Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles to improve supplier outcomes. Partner with internal teams to resolve supplier issues impacting study delivery. Balance strategic oversight with hands-on problem-solving. Ensure corrective and preventive actions address true root cause and prevent recurrence of supplier performance issues. Data Analytics & ReportingDevelop and maintain supplier dashboards and scorecards. Analyze performance data to identify trends, risks, and value opportunities. Contribute performance insights to senior SRM and leadership reporting. Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Procurement, Quality, Clinical Operations, and Finance. Influence internal stakeholders and suppliers without formal authority. Support supplier segmentation and governance activities under senior SRM guidance. How You Will Get HereEducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related subject area required. Advanced degree or certifications (Lean, Six Sigma, PMP) preferred. Experience4+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Operations in a regulated environment (e.g., Pharma, Medical Device, Biotech). Experience working with clinical trials is highly preferred. We value a proven ability to lead supplier performance improvement and relationship management initiatives. Experience using ERP/QMS systems and data analytics tools. Prior exposure to regulated frameworks (GxP, ISO, ICH) preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDemonstrated ability to independently manage suppliers and performance outcomes. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable leading supplier discussions and managing escalations. Increasing judgment and autonomy; accountable for outcomes within defined scope. Ability to travel up to 25%.
