Our Purpose Interventional Cardiology Therapies is a vital component of the Medtronic Cardiovascular portfolio consisting of three therapies; coronary, renal denervation and structural heart. Our core coronary products treat blocked coronary arteries and we are seeking to solve unmet needs in the rapidly growing field of complex Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI). In renal denervation we are leading the way with the transformational Blood pressure reduction therapy, which has the potential to be a powerful tool in battling the global hypertension epidemic. Structural Heart therapies offer minimally-invasive approaches to restore proper structure and function on the heart focusing on the transcatheter replacement or repair of heart valves. The Senior Program Manager serves as the primary Operations interface to cross-functional Core Teams and is a highly visible senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing Operations strategy across the integration of acquired products and teams, new product development, and commercial lifecycle phases, leading global teams to deliver product outcomes aligned with cost, quality, supply, and business objectives. A Day in The Life Of: Program & Operations Strategy Lead Operations strategy and execution across integration, new product development, and commercialization phases Serve as the Voice of Operations on the Core Team, shaping program direction, trade-offs, and decisions Define and drive program scope, timelines, and governance, balancing priorities, risks, and resources across integration and next-generation product development workstreams Integration Leadership & Execution Lead Operations integration of acquired products, processes, and teams into Medtronic systems, ensuring alignment to quality, supply, and business objectives Define and execute integration plans across manufacturing, supply chain, and quality systems, managing risks and ensuring continuity of supply and product knowledge Partner cross-functionally to drive aligned execution, balancing standardization with preservation of critical product and organizational knowledge Manufacturing & Supply Chain Execution Shape and lead the execution of manufacturing and supply chain strategies across internal and external partners to ensure readiness for launch and scale Establish performance metrics and drive Design for Reliability and Manufacturability (DRM) to deliver robust, scalable products with predictable cost and performance Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary Operations liaison across Core Team and functional leadership, ensuring alignment on strategy, priorities, and execution Influence and negotiate across stakeholders while establishing effective governance, communication, and escalation pathways People & Capability Development Lead and influence a global, cross-functional Operations team, aligning resources and capabilities to program and integration needs Partner with functional leaders to address capability and capacity needs while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and structured problem-solving Key Skills & Experience Minimum NFQ Level 8 Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Or Masters degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in a regulated environment Proven experience leading programs across new product development and product integration, transfer, or scale-up environments Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments and manage multiple concurrent priorities Strong Operations leadership experience, with depth across manufacturing, supply chain, or process development, and a track record of delivering against cost, quality, and supply objectives Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills Requirement This role requires to be onsite at the Galway or Mounds View Minneapolis site.
