This Position reports to: Finance Manager Key responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a financial business partner to the relevant business manager to optimize the financial performance within the Robotics business area. Each day, you will take the lead to support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions. This role is contributing to the Robotics business area in Friedberg, Germany. Main stakeholders are middle management, department heads, team leaders and regulatory authorities. You will be mainly accountable for: Shape business unit strategy, assess financial impact, develop scenarios, and offer actionable recommendations. Translate strategy into business plans, monitoring measurable targets closely. Drive business planning and forecasting for your area. Manage cost structure, optimize productivity, and ensure capital efficiency, including proactive cash flow management. Lead cross-functional initiatives aligned with strategic goals. Ensure transparent financial reporting, implement internal controls, maintain regulatory compliance, and mitigate business risks while upholding data quality and closing schedules. Establish effective communication with internal stakeholders to promptly identify and address operational, work quality, and efficiency improvement opportunities within your area of responsibility. Qualifications for the role Ability to demonstrate your experience in project and business controlling with 5+ years of experience in these fields, demonstrating a strong sense of personal responsibility and an innate drive to excel, consistently taking ownership of tasks and projects to achieve exceptional results. Possess an enhanced knowledge of risk management and project business. You are passionate about attention to detail, accuracy, and multitasking, and you are innovative around collaboration and solution-focused approaches. A degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or similar. You are at ease communicating in German and English.
