This Position reports to: Regional IS Manager APAC ABB Robotics - India Roles and Responsibilities This position is responsible for ensuring the reliable delivery, maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement of IT services within ABB Robotics. The role serves as a key technical expert, supporting business-critical systems, driving operational excellence, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with corporate IT governance standards. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners to maintain high-quality service delivery and support ABB Robotics' strategic objectives. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the ABB Robotics in Bangalore, India. You are mainly accountable for: Managing the installation, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of IT services and related cross-functional processes to ensure service stability and performance. Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving service incidents and problems while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to restore services efficiently. Driving continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational inefficiencies, evaluating enhancement opportunities, and implementing service optimization measures. Managing supplier relationships, monitoring vendor performance against contractual obligations and SLAs, and leading service improvement initiatives with external partners. Ensuring compliance with ABB Robotics IS policies, governance standards, security requirements, and internal control frameworks while maintaining accurate service documentation and knowledge assets. Qualifications for the Role Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management, Infrastructure Support, Application Support, or a related IT operations role. Strong experience in incident, problem, and service management processes within complex enterprise environments. Proven ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize business-critical IT services and systems. Experience working with external vendors and service providers, including supplier performance management and SLA monitoring. Knowledge of IT governance, compliance frameworks, information security standards, and corporate IT policies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions. Experience creating and maintaining operational documentation, procedures, and knowledge management assets. Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across global and cross-functional teams. ITIL certification or knowledge of IT Service Management best practices is preferred. Experience working in multinational or shared services environments is an advantage.
