We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as a Data Architect. As an essential part of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable, high-performance data architecture solutions across platforms and products. We are looking for an expert in technology architecture with strong experience in data engineering and analytics environments. Qualifications Expert proficiency in Technology Architecture and Architectural Design Advanced/Intermediate knowledge of Architecture Frameworks and Operational Architecture Strong expertise in Azure Databricks Advanced SQL skills Solid experience in Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake, Data Warehouse) Strong knowledge of Power BI (Data Modeling, DAX, and Power Query) Proven experience with ETL pipelines and data processing Knowledge of Data Lake concepts and modern data architecture Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering and analytics projects (Level 8 ±1) Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders Responsibilities Design and deliver end-to-end technology architecture for platforms, products, or engagements Define scalable solutions aligned with performance, capability, and business needs Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and support decision-making across teams Lead and guide the team, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery Develop innovative architecture solutions aligned with business objectives Conduct regular assessments of architecture performance and optimization opportunities Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and stakeholder feedback Mentor team members on best practices in architecture and data engineering Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends Drive alignment between project objectives and business goals Identify risks and define mitigation strategies to ensure project success Promote cross-functional collaboration and improve workflows Support continuous improvement initiatives across tools and processes Contribute to documentation and reporting for transparency and governance Additional Information Location: Lisbon Working Model: Hybrid About Accenture Accenture is a leading global professional services company that helps the world’s leading businesses, governments and other organizations build their digital core, optimize their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services—creating tangible value at speed and scale.
