Project Role : Test Automation Lead Project Role Description : Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Must have skills : Retail Store Operations Good to have skills : Functional Test Planning Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Quality Engineer focusing on manual testing, a typical day involves meticulously verifying that solutions meet the defined requirements and expected behaviors. This role includes designing detailed test cases, executing manual tests, and carefully documenting any discrepancies or defects found during testing. Collaboration with various delivery teams is essential to ensure that the final product is reliable and ready for users. The position demands a proactive approach to identifying issues early and contributing to the overall quality assurance process throughout the development lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality. - Mentor junior team members to build their skills and ensure consistent quality standards. - Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing activities with project goals and timelines. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Retail Store Operations. - Good To Have Skills: Functional Test Planning. - Strong ability to design comprehensive manual test cases based on user stories and requirements. - Experience in defect identification, documentation, and tracking to facilitate effective resolution. - Excellent collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams including developers and business analysts. - Familiarity with quality assurance best practices and methodologies to ensure thorough testing coverage.
