In this patient-focused role, you will act as a central point of contact for certified CAR-T sites, working closely with nurse coordinators and other key stakeholders to ensure each case is supported with care, clarity and precision. You will help coordinate day-to-day case management, support smooth service delivery and facilitate cell logistics, ensuring the right information reaches the right people at the right time. A core part of the role will be supporting treatment site onboarding and helping relevant stakeholders navigate the order management IT platform with confidence. You will also coordinate the resolution of special situations by engaging the appropriate J&J stakeholders and helping guide issues through to a practical solution. This Australia-based role is dedicated to supporting CAR-T operations locally and across the cluster, contributing to a best-in-class customer experience for treatment sites and the teams involved in patient care. RESPONSIBILITIES Act as a key member of the local and regional CAR-T team, as the primary Cell Therapy Coordinator and serving as a local expert in CAR-T operations and logistics. Partner with treatment centres and internal teams to support case management, treatment site onboarding and effective use of case management IT platforms, ensuring the right stakeholders have the right information at the right time. Coordinate day-to-day CAR-T operations with nurse coordinators, apheresis teams, pharmacists and other site stakeholders, including patient enrolment, order processing, cell processing, transportation, delivery, rescheduling and cancellations where required. Support the synchronisation of the patient and cell journey by tracking cell status, location and timelines, coordinating pickup and delivery, and proactively communicating any changes, delays or site requirements. Provide a strong customer experience for treatment sites by responding to operational and logistics queries, triaging issues, coordinating resolution with relevant local and regional stakeholders and keeping teams informed through timely status updates. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Service, CTAL, CAR-T APAC Centre of Excellence, Quality, Medical Affairs and other cross-functional partners to support manufacturing slot availability, documentation, labelling requirements and operational performance. Ensure issues are escalated through the appropriate channels in line with company policies, including system bugs, product quality complaints, escalations, adverse event reporting support and other special situations. Share local insights, learnings and best practices with regional teams to support continuous improvement across CAR-T operations, cell collection and processing. Maintain continuity of support by coordinating with backup Cell Therapy Coordinators during periods of absence. ABOUT YOU Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a medical, scientific or related discipline. 3-5 years’ experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a hospital, patient care coordination, customer service, local trial management or similar healthcare setting. Experience working with hospitals, treatment centres or complex healthcare environments involving multiple stakeholders. Exposure to transplant units, cell therapy or supply chain would be highly regarded. Strong understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, CAR-T, myeloma and advanced therapy medicinal product requirements. Ability to work in line with local and regional regulations, company SOPs and compliance requirements, including data privacy, HCBI/promotional rules, quality, pharmacovigilance, audits and inspections. Strong systems capability, with confidence using case management platforms, IT tools, internal reporting processes and maintaining accurate case documentation. Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance and timely updates to internal teams and hospital site stakeholders. Proven ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with nurse coordinators, apheresis and cell lab teams, pharmacists, physicians, hospital managers and cross-functional internal partners.
