Job Function: Supply Chain Planning Job Sub Function: Supply Network Planning Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Norderstedt, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany Job Description: Internal posting 06.07. – 20.07.2026 As a Source Lead (f/m/d), you will: Under limited supervision with upper management and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: The function needs to establish and maintain the proper contacts with the different suppliers and with the manufacturing plants. In addition, it must provide clear leadership and alignment across the PRM team to ensure effective and consistent execution. The Source Lead is also responsible for ensuring data accuracy across planning and procurement systems, alignment of orders between systems, and resolution of financial discrepancies such as credit notes and invoice mismatches where applicable. Own end-to-end material availability through demand-driven sourcing strategies Lead, develop, and align the PRM team to deliver consistent performance and results. Align supplier commitments with planning requirements and ensure execution reliability Lead proactive supply risk identification, mitigation, and recovery actions Drive strategic supplier relationships, aligning on capacity, performance, and priorities Integrate suppliers into S&OP processes and ensure transparency on constraints and opportunities Monitor and improve supplier performance (delivery, quality, responsiveness) Lead supplier alignment for specification changes and material transitions Drive sourcing-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives Own inventory strategy aligned with service, cost, and working capital targets Drive inventory optimization, including risk visibility and SLOB reduction Qualifications/Requirements: Education: University Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Supply Chain Certification (APICS/IBF) desired Years of experience: 3–8 years (relevant Supply Chain, Sourcing, or Planning experience) Fluent written & spoken English Good written & spoken German Technical skills & competencies: Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP) and APS Planning or manufacturing experience in a medical/pharmaceutical or consumer industry Familiarity with relevant legislation (import/export, ISO) Knowledge, skills and capabilities: Strong decision making skills Ability to work with associates of all levels Ability to influence others in a matrix environment Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, considering diverse perspectives and styles Strong analytical skills, must be able to relate and compare and to identify key issues Data mining & reporting skills through MS Excel or equivalent Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools #LI-SP5 / #Li-Hybrid Required Skills: Preferred Skills: Administrative Support, Analytical Reasoning, Communication, Compliant Spend, Cost Management, Data Reporting, Demand Planning, Logistics Optimization, Manufacturing Flow Management, Negotiation, Organizing, Problem Solving, Quality Assurance (QA), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Resilience, Supply Planning, Sustainable Procurement The anticipated pay range and benefits for this position is: This position is assigned as Tariff.
