Position Summary: This individual is responsible for the data management and optimization for the continuous improvement of Item and Business Partner data of a defined range of products in alignment with RSD Europe Data Governance framework. The individual will also focus on data consistency improvement, ensuring quality and accuracy of data in our systems and will be requested to have innovative thinking on tools to manage data. This individual will liaise very closely within the organization to optimize the delivery of data within and to the business identifying and developing automation and controls to improve the overall quality of Fisher Scientific product data. Specific tasks include but are not limited to creating ad hoc reporting, monitoring quality control procedures as well as auditing product data. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to gain departmental efficiencies, including process improvements, new tools, new governance rules, automation, others Create, analyze, and distribute reports, metrics and KPIs using Excel, Power BI, Access, Cognos. Support the development and implementation of solutions to ensure data quality across product data attributes in order to minimize disruption to downstream systems and processes. Collect feedback from process stakeholders as a measure of success. Actively participate on Governance and/or PPIs activities and ensure the use of Governance and automation when appropriated Effectively always perform your duties whilst acting in accordance with the Dignity at Work Policy, Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and our values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: · Bachelor’s Degree in business or computer science or related discipline or strong knowledge on Fisher Scientific product data · Knowledge of MS office application specifically Excel, SQL, VBA, Power BI, Phyton, large data set manipulation · Proficient in English.
