The Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) provides a diverse mix of analytical instruments and associated services to a broad range of end user markets including Safety & Security, Environmental, Food Safety, Energy, Mining, Life Science Manufacturing and Recycling, to name a few. Its instruments are deployed in the field and on the line, in challenging environments where customers put a premium on robustness, reliability and ease of use. The impact you will have could be anything from delivering products that help a scientist discover a cure for cancer to helping a nurse care for a patient optimally because they have the right equipment. A Day in the Life: Duties include pulling materials from stockroom for work orders for the manufacturing floor and the issuing of these materials to the work orders in our ERP system. Ensure the accurate expedition of selecting and labeling product for our sales orders from the stockroom to delivery to the shipping department and reporting any delays planning department. Complete internal logistics to support line side inventory for manufacturing including retrieving and filling bins and delivering to the production floor as needed. Move materials to production carts and replenish material in Kan Ban bins as needed. Scanning of Kan Ban cards to trigger replenishment orders for our purchasing department as parts are being picked. Assists with daily cycle counts which are submitted to Team Leader and Finance Team. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Experience in a warehouse or stockroom setting. Preferred experience in inventory/manufacturing. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
