About the role This position will focus on providing on-site and remote support for Sandvik Digital Automation solutions, including AutoMine® and Newtrax systems. The role will support the installation, commissioning, validation, optimization and ongoing maintenance of automation systems, helping customers improve safety, productivity and operational performance. Main responsibilities In this role, you will be involved in: Installation, commissioning, validation and optimization of new automation systems. On-site system audits. Customer training, both classroom-based and on-the-job. Participation in customer operational meetings and scoping workshops. Troubleshooting, fault finding and support for installed systems. Remote and on-site technical support. Production optimization activities. Technical support for sales initiatives. Collaboration with customers, internal teams and global technical support. Candidate profile We are looking for someone with: A strong technical background. Experience with automation systems, ideally Sandvik Automation products. Knowledge of networking and network protocols. Good computer skills and reporting capabilities. Experience in mining or heavy equipment environments would be a plus. Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive mindset, customer focus and ability to work independently.
