Job Description Summary of the Position: Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate data entry, validations, compliance, reporting, and timely resolution of employee queries. Key Responsibilities: 1.Payroll Processing Support Assist in preparing and processing payroll cycles (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly) Input employee data such as new hires, terminations, salary changes, and allowances Ensure payroll inputs are accurately entered in the payroll system 2. Data Validation & Accuracy Checks Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, and deductions before payroll run Perform basic reconciliations between payroll reports and input data Identify discrepancies and escalate to senior team members 3. Employee Master Data Maintenance Update employee information in HR/payroll systems (bank details, tax details, etc.) Ensure data accuracy and completeness in systems like Workday/ADP/Excel trackers 4. Statutory Compliance Support Assist in calculating statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc. – depending on country) Support preparation of compliance reports and filings Maintain records for audit and legal purposes 5. Payroll Queries Handling Respond to employee queries related to payslips, deductions, and salary payments Coordinate with HR/Finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues Ensure timely communication and follow-up on open queries 6. Reporting & Documentation Generate standard payroll reports (pay register, variance report, etc.) Maintain payroll trackers and documentation for audits Support preparation of month-end payroll summaries 7. Support in Audits & Controls Assist in providing data for internal/external audits Follow payroll SOPs and controls to ensure compliance Maintain proper documentation for all payroll transactions 8. Coordination with Stakeholders Work with HR, Finance, and external vendors (e.g., ADP) Support data exchange between HR systems and payroll systems Assist in resolving processing or system-related discrepancies Key Skills Expected from Freshers Basic knowledge of payroll concepts and statutory components Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good Excel skills (formulas, data validation) Communication and coordination skills Ability to handle confidential information Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish Education: Bachelor’s degree. Experience/Professional Requirement: Fresher Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in handling a high volume of activity involving multiple projects simultaneously. Shift: Night shift - 5 pm to 2 am Work from office - Hebbal, Bangalore Location.
