JOB DETAILS: Location: Bangalore Onsite/Hybrid: Onsite Duration: 1 year or 6 months WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: We are a Server SoC Performance Modeling team, we are a part of the Server Performance Group at AMD, Bangalore. We are looking for Masters or Ph.D. students from Computer Science / Engineering, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, who are interested in doing an internship in the industry for 6 months – 1 year. Performance models written in C++ form the backbone of next generation SoC projections, designing micro-architecture features and driving SoC architecture decisions. We have challenging projects spanning performance modeling for high core count Server SoCs, coherence modeling in caches and interconnects, performance feature modeling and optimizations, and high-level / abstract models. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Required skills: Strong knowledge of computer architecture Strong knowledge of C++ is desirable Projects on Computer architecture or performance modeling and analysis is a bonus Experience with simulators such as GEM5, Sniper, ChampSim, etc. is a bonus Good analysis and communication skills Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance .
