The Process Automation & Optimization Specialist is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and driving automation and process improvement opportunities across business operations. This role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to assess current workflows, design scalable solutions, and lead initiatives from concept through implementation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall business performance. This position plays a critical role in advancing digital transformation efforts by combining process expertise, analytical thinking, and automation technologies.Key Responsibilities Automation Opportunity Identification & Planning Proactively evaluate business processes to identify automation and optimization opportunities that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and increase scalability Partner with business stakeholders to understand pain points, inefficiencies, and operational risks Work with RPA Lead to maintain a prioritized pipeline (roadmap) of automation initiatives aligned with business objectives Process Analysis & Design Map current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities using data analysis and stakeholder insights Design future-state workflows that incorporate automation, system enhancements, and process standardization Ensure solutions align with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP) and organizational standards Implementation & Execution Lead end-to-end delivery of automation initiatives—from concept, requirements, and design through testing, deployment, and stabilization Collaborate with IT, RPA developers, and data/AI teams to integrate AI models, machine learning capabilities, or intelligent automation components into solutions Monitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, and ensure successful execution Optimization & Continuous Improvement Track performance metrics and KPIs using advanced analytics and AI-driven insights to measure solution impact Identify continuous improvement opportunities using predictive analytics, trend analysis, and AI-generated recommendations Ensure sustainability, documentation, and knowledge transfer for implemented solutions Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Management Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and automation resources Communicate progress, benefits, and impacts of automation initiatives to leadership Support training, adoption, and change management efforts to ensure successful implementation Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Operations, or related field Experience in process improvement, automation, or operations Understanding of business process mapping, workflow analysis, and optimization techniques Experience with automation tools (e.g., RPA, workflow automation platforms) Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP (P58 experience preferred) Ability to manage projects from concept through implementation Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of digital transformation or large-scale system implementations Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies Experience with data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI) Background in service operations, contracts, or data quality initiatives Who we are: We are a team of more than 72,000 highly dedicated Healthineers in more than 70 countries. The base pay range for this position is: $89,220 - $122,672 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
