Your ImpactEngineer high-quality, functional code and comprehensive unit tests to ensure robust software performance and reliability throughout the development lifecycle. Lead small-to-medium technical features from initial design to final delivery to execute our strategic engineering roadmap effectively. Resolve complex production issues through proactive troubleshooting and root cause analysis to maintain seamless service for our users. Mentor colleagues and interns while fostering strong relationships across teams to elevate our collective technical knowledge and agile expertise. Apply secure coding practices and threat modeling to guarantee product scalability and protect user privacy in an evolving cybersecurity landscape. Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or PhD with 0+ years of experience. Proven experience in software development and Layer 2 application support. Strong proficiency in Python and Django development. Demonstrated experience working with the ServiceNow codebase. Direct exposure to security applications and the cybersecurity domain. Preferred QualificationsAdvanced knowledge of modern software development lifecycles and agile methodologies. Experience in coaching and leading technical teams through complex project roadmaps. Proven ability to translate customer needs into actionable product features and adoption metrics. Expertise in technical documentation and knowledge sharing through internal platforms. Experience in managing on-call rotations and conducting post-incident postmortems. Why Cisco?
