Job Function: Enterprise Management Job Sub Function: Commercial Management Job Category: People Leader All Job Posting Locations: Prague, Czechia, Warsaw, Masovian, Poland Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Asset Manager & Comm SC Excellence Lead, located in Warsaw,Poland or Prague, Czechia The Asset Manager & Comm SC Excellence Lead is the central integrator (“glue”) between Commercial and Supply Chain, ensuring alignment between commercial strategy, demand signals, asset deployment, and supply capabilities. The role owns the end-to-end economic steering of assets and consignment structures across Hip, Knee, and Shoulder, while driving IBP execution from a commercial perspective to enable sustainable, capital-efficient, profitable growth. Key outcomes: Growth, Profitability, and Cash Flow balance Commercial-plan-aligned forecasting and deployment Process stability, transparency, and compliance Key partners: Commercial Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance Strategic Accountability Areas 1. Commercial Asset & Consignment Management (Evolution of the current Asset Manager role) Full ownership of the economic performance of consignment and asset structures (Hip, Knee, Shoulder) Analysis of customer contribution, revenue, profitability, and capital efficiency Definition of priorities to optimize: Asset footprint Inventory levels and turn rates CAPEX and SLOB exposure Steering Pull Back initiatives, including dashboard-based monthly reporting to BUD Ensuring full HCC and Code of Conduct compliance 2. Commercial Supply Chain Excellence (IBP-driven) This person is the commercial owner of IBP execution and the interface to Supply Chain. Demand, Forecasting & Deployment Own commercial demand alignment across: Revenue forecasting (direct vs trade) Non-revenue forecasting (>6-month horizon) Ensure demand signals are accurate, complete, and actionable Align baseline, Risks & Opportunities (R&O) at CEE level Drive commercial prioritization and deployment decisions, especially under constrained supply FOL & Opportunity Capturing Commercial lead for FOL governance and execution Ensure: FOL IDs capture implant & instrument needs in standard BOMs Brand-level accuracy and completeness Timely input, approval, and escalation Translate commercial opportunities into executable supply signals 3. IBP Governance & Process Integration Act as Commercial Process Owner for key IBP interfaces: Commercial Strategy & Opportunity Capturing Non-Revenue Forecasting & Deployment Revenue Forecasting Drive CEE-wide process clarity, including: R&R definitions Standardized documentation Tool usage (ILTIS, FOL, Pull Back, dashboards, etc.) Ensure transparency, discipline, and follow-through across markets 4. Cross-Functional Leadership & Change Management Operate as the single point of orchestration between: Sales Marketing Local & Regional Supply Chain Finance Quality Actively drive behavioral change toward: Data-driven decisions Forecast accountability Asset discipline Lead and coordinate IBP taskforces / workstreams in line with CEE governance Elevate issues with clear commercial impact framing (growth, profitability, cash) What This Role Balances (from IBP Conclusions) This role explicitly owns the trade-offs between: Growth (opportunity capturing, FOL, deployment) Profitability (customer contribution, asset efficiency) Cash Flow (turn rate, CAPEX, SLOB, inventory health) And ensures commercial ambition is executable by supply chain — not aspirational. Profile Experience & Expertise 6–10+ years in: Orthopaedics / MedTech Commercial Operations, Asset Management, or Supply Chain–Commercial interface roles Strong understanding of: Endoprosthetics (Hip/Knee/Shoulder) Consignment & instrument economics Forecasting & IBP principles Core Strengths Strong commercial mindset with supply chain literacy Highly structured, analytical, and execution-driven Comfortable challenging both Sales and Supply Chain Credible communicator across functions and seniority levels Proven ability to run cross-functional governance without formal authority Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
