We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team in Zhubei, Taipei. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of electrical components from our suppliers, implementing quality control measures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Own all aspects of supplier quality and reliability for Electrical Components, along with program management of supplier readiness in support of new product development. Work with suppliers, and internal hardware, firmware, product quality and reliability engineering teams to ensure electrical components perform to expectations in Sandisk products. Understand and be familiar with supplier manufactory processes to identify KPIV parameters. Audit supplier QMA and manufacturing processes. Drive supplier resolution of device failures via the 8D method. Coordinate with Program Management, Design Engineering, Procurement and Factory for successful program execution with multiple suppliers, making recommendations on supplier selection. Conduct supplier audits, process assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards Evaluate and score for periodic business reviews. Review supplier process changes notices and plans the appropriate level of qualification activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes. Lead root cause investigations on supplier quality problems and drive corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with internal engineering, manufacturing and procurement teams. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier quality. Continuously monitor changes in industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations to drive supplier compliance and performance improvement. REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Materials) or a related technical field. Demonstrated ability in Supplier Evaluation and Supplier Quality to assess, qualify, and monitor supplier capabilities and performance. 5 years+ experience in Supplier Quality Management and Quality Management to develop and implement supplier quality plans and standards. Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, 8D, root cause analysis, CAPA). 5 years+ experience in semiconductor, storage, or electronics product engineering and manufacturing environments preferred. Strong analytical skills, data-driven decision-making, and proficiency with quality and statistical analysis software. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, including supply chain partners. Ability to operate independently on-site, manage multiple projects, and travel to supplier locations as needed. Experience in ASIC, PMIC and memory devices is an added advantage. SKILLS: Fluent in English, with strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification required; Lead Auditor qualification preferred.
