Job Description Associate Director – Business Insights Consumption, India Hub As Associate Director – Business Insights Consumption, IME India Hub, you will lead and scale the Business Insights Consumption capability within the IME India Hub, with accountability for driving business-aligned insights generation, analytics consumption, and decision-support solutions for Human Health International markets. This role will lead a focused team comprising selected members from Business Insights & Analytics and a major portion of the Insights Consumption team. You will be responsible for ensuring that analytical outputs are translated into actionable insights, compelling business narratives, and scalable solutions that support decision-making across global, regional, and market stakeholders. You will act as a key thought partner to the business, helping translate business questions into structured analytical frameworks, ensuring solutions are aligned with business goals, and leveraging domain expertise to present results, key findings, and recommendations. The role requires strong commercial analytics expertise, stakeholder engagement, people leadership, GenAI fluency, and a product-oriented mindset to drive measurable business impact. You will partner closely with Business Insights & Analytics, Data Science / AI, Data Enablement, Commercial Technology, regional teams, and market stakeholders to build scalable, standardized, and market-relevant insights consumption capabilities across international markets. Key Responsibilities: Lead the strategy, operating model, and roadmap for the Business Insights Consumption capability within the IME India Hub, ensuring alignment with Human Health International, DHH priorities, and regional / market business needs. Serve as a thought partner to business stakeholders, translating strategic business questions into structured analytical frameworks, insight-generation approaches, and decision-support solutions. Lead a blended team across Business Insights & Analytics and Insights Consumption, driving clear ownership, delivery discipline, stakeholder engagement, team capability development, and measurable business impact. Ensure analytics and insights solutions are aligned with business goals by connecting market priorities, stakeholder needs, data availability, analytical approaches, and recommended actions. Own end-to-end delivery of insights consumption solutions, including business performance insights, executive reporting, dashboards, KPI tracking, market performance reviews, self-service analytics assets, and decision-support materials. Drive insights generation and synthesis by identifying trends, opportunities, risks, performance drivers, and actionable recommendations from analytics outputs, market signals, and business context. Leverage commercial domain expertise to interpret results, present key findings, shape business narratives, and influence decisions with global, regional, and market stakeholders. Define and drive the strategy for evaluating, sourcing, creating, and enhancing data assets that inform business decisions, commercial actions, performance management, and future analytics use cases. Partner across Business Insights & Analytics, Data Science / AI, Forecasting, Market Research, Data Enablement, and Technology teams to create a connected insights ecosystem and improve standardization, reuse, quality, and scalability. Embed automation, GenAI, advanced analytics, and responsible AI practices into insights workflows to improve speed, productivity, insight generation, stakeholder experience, and business value realization. Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications 8+ years of experience in business insights, commercial analytics, strategy, reporting, business intelligence, consulting, digital analytics, or related analytical functions. 4+ years of leadership experience managing analytics, insights, reporting, or cross-functional teams in a global, regional, or matrixed environment. Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, engineering, data science, life sciences, technology, healthcare, or a related discipline; advanced degree such as MBA, MS, MPH, or equivalent preferred. Strong experience in insights generation, business problem solving, analytical thinking, and translating business questions into structured analytics frameworks. Demonstrated ability to act as a thought partner to business stakeholders, align analytics solutions with business goals, and convert insights into practical recommendations and actions. Strong understanding of pharma commercial analytics domains, including market performance, brand performance, customer engagement, omnichannel analytics, launch readiness, field effectiveness, and executive business reviews. Knowledge of key pharma commercial analytics data sources, including sales data, prescription / Rx data, claims data, patient-level data, CRM and field activity data, digital engagement data, market research data, and third-party syndicated sources such as IQVIA or similar providers. Experience defining approaches for evaluating, sourcing, creating, and governing data assets to support business decisions, analytics products, reporting solutions, and scalable insights delivery. Working knowledge of analytics, reporting, and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms, with the ability to guide teams on effective insight consumption and stakeholder adoption. Strong GenAI and digital fluency, including the ability to identify GenAI-enabled opportunities for insight generation, automation, summarization, data storytelling, productivity improvement, and responsible AI-enabled analytics workflows.
