Work Flexibility: Field-based Summary: This position is responsible for providing clinical product support to all end users of our pioneering Mako SmartRobotics system, including on-site guidance and assistance during surgical procedures. The role also involves delivering training, ongoing in-service sessions, and customer education for assigned accounts. The Mako Product Specialist (MPS) drives continuous account growth by collaborating with key hospital staff, thought leaders, and referring physicians within the territory to develop referral networks and increase procedural and implant volumes. The MPS also supports case volume and site expansion by effectively translating the clinical benefits of MAKO into economic value for customers. In addition, the MPS gathers and provides feedback on product design and performance to support continuous improvement and enhance customer satisfaction. Note: This role is based in Jeolla, Interviews will be conducted at Seoul main office. What you will do: ​​​Must pass MAKO course examinations and be certified by MPS within probation period. ​Provide case coverage as MPS (Mako Product Specialist) ​Provide surgeons and operating room staff with training and Clinical/Technical support in the operation of the company's robotic arm applications, associated equipment, and instruments to insure ideal placement and precision. ​Use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans for use in conjunction with the company's Mako SmartRobotics, assist surgeon in preoperative implant planning, implant sizing and positioning. ​Provide detailed reports and associated metrics to management, direct supervisor and company's Quality/Regulatory representatives as needed. Key considerations include case review, service, customer complaint, and recommendations for improvements. ​Maintains and controls local Mako consigned inventory. ​Processes sales orders and provides forecast input to sales and operations teams. ​Support training and marketing activities as needed. Provide potential customers with opportunity to experience the Mako system through hands on demonstration and explanations. ​Provide prompt and accurate complaint reports per the requirements of Stryker’s quality system. ​Actively sell the clinical benefits of the products, and build strong, positive relationships with key surgeons and OR staff at targeted accounts. What you need: ​​ Preferably a minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales and/or technical role within the medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders; proficient in using computers and MS Office tools Knowledge of the operating room environment is required Strong understanding of customer service principles and processes Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment; excellent interpersonal and communication skills Confident and able to take ownership and lead when required Ability to interpret and analyse written specifications, and support customers in selecting products that meet those requirements Highly detail-oriented Note: Please submit an English copy of your CV/resume when applying for this role.
