We mean genuinely, concretely, measurably change the life of a patient who, right now, is waiting for a treatment that doesn't yet exist. At Bristol Myers Squibb, that's not an aspiration, it's the work. And we're looking for someone like you to help make it happen. This is your invitation to shape medicines from day one As a Senior Manager, Early Clinical Development, Clinical Pharmacology Studies, you'll be embedded in the heart of early clinical development. You won't be watching from the sidelines - you'll be designing and executing the clinical trials that move promising compounds from concept into patients' hands. From drafting protocols and informed consent documents to reviewing clinical data for emerging trends, your fingerprints will be on every critical milestone of a study's journey. That's not a small thing. That's science with stakes. What your day-to-day actually looks like You'll collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the field - Key Opinion Leaders, cross-functional teams, data management specialists, and clinical operations experts - to bring rigour and clarity to complex, fast-moving trials. Concretely, you'll be: Crafting the blueprint – Developing and refining protocols and ICF documents, presenting them to governance committees, and ensuring every detail supports the science Protecting data integrity – Working with data management to design CRFs and contribute to Data Review Plans that actually work in practice Telling the scientific story – Authoring and reviewing Clinical Study Reports and contributing to regulatory submissions (INDs, IBs, DSURs and more) that open doors with health authorities globally Raising the bar on-site – Building training materials and presenting at Investigator Meetings and Site Initiation Visits, so every site is equipped to deliver Keeping a finger on the pulse – Monitoring clinical data trends and reviewing clinical narratives to ensure patient safety stays front and centre What you'll gain - beyond the job title Depth of scientific impact - You'll work across the full lifecycle of early-phase trials. The breadth here accelerates your development in ways that siloed roles simply can't match. A global stage - Partnering with KOLs, regulatory bodies, and cross-functional teams internationally means your work and your network has no borders. A clear growth trajectory - Reporting to a Director of Clinical Sciences, you'll have both the support of experienced leadership and the autonomy to build your capabilities at pace. The immunology frontier - You'll be working in one of the most dynamic and rapidly evolving therapeutic areas in medicine. The science here is genuinely exciting, and the unmet patient need is real. A culture that backs you - BMS is a place where collaboration isn't just encouraged - it's how things actually get done. You'll be part of a team that challenges each other and champions each other in equal measure. You'll thrive here if you… Hold a degree in Life Sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, MS, RN or equivalent) and bring 2+ years of experience in early drug development, clinical pharmacology, or clinical research Know your way around GCP/ICH guidelines and understand what good study design really looks like Can hold your own in the detail - you spot things others miss, and you care about getting it right Are comfortable navigating ambiguity - shifting priorities don't throw you, they energise you Bring solid medical writing skills and can translate complex science into clear, compelling documents Are confident using Microsoft Office tools and data review platforms to turn raw information into insight Why BMS? Why now? BMS has a bold ambition: to transform patients' lives through science. In immunology, that means tackling diseases that rob people of their quality of life - conditions where current treatments fall short and the next breakthrough is still being written. You could be one of the people writing it. We're at a pivotal moment in our pipeline, and the scientists we bring on board today will help define what's possible tomorrow. A truly global role with approximately 10 – 20% Domestic and international travel required #LI-Hybrid If you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn’t perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
