This Position reports to: Head of Finance Processes, Data and Systems The Head of Process Solution Architecture and Governance leads the design, governance, integration, and continuous evolution of core finance processes, data, and technology across the organization. Working closely with Finance Process, Data & Systems (FPDS), Global Process Owners, Finance & Accounting Operations (FAO), Information Systems (IS), business areas, and divisional stakeholders, this role drives a standardized and enterprise-wide approach to finance transformation. The position is accountable for ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, robust controls, and effective change management while enabling centralized finance operations and real-time financial insights. As a strategic leader, the role defines and advances the future-state finance architecture, promotes the adoption of common finance solutions and technologies, and ensures seamless integration across business functions, including acquisitions. The Head of Process Solution Architecture and Governance also serves as the steward of the Finance Governance Model, ensuring alignment between business strategy, process optimization, and technology enablement. Key responsibilities:Finance Process, Data & Technology Design and Governance Lead the design, implementation, and integration of finance processes, data, and technology, while owning governance frameworks to ensure effective change management, integration, and continuous evolution of the finance architecture and implementation roadmap. Financial Process Integrity, Compliance & Risk Management Safeguard financial processes by ensuring integrity, security, compliance, and effective controls, adhering to legal, regulatory, and industry standards while mitigating operational and financial risks. Cross-functional Collaboration and Enterprise Integration Partner with FPDS, Global Process Owners, FAO, IS, business areas, divisions, and other stakeholders to drive alignment, share best practices, ensure cohesive implementation of finance processes, data, and technology, and support the integration of acquisitions into core finance operations. Operational Excellence and Real-time Financial Enablement Enhance efficiency and compliance by optimizing workflows, reducing redundancies, and supporting centralized transactions and real-time financial insights that enable informed decision-making and streamlined financial operations. Strategic Finance Technology Leadership and Future Roadmaps Provide strategic vision and expert guidance on finance technology, ensuring alignment with long-term organizational objectives, defining the future-state finance architecture, and owning forward-looking process and technology roadmaps to support evolving business needs. Required Qualifications/Skills: Education and Professional Qualifications Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field, with an MBA and/or relevant professional certifications (e.g., SAP Certification, S4 Hana, SAP GR certifications) considered highly desirable. Extensive Finance Process and Transformation Experience Minimum 15+ years of experience with a strong foundation in finance and accounting best practices across end-to-end processes, including R2R, O2C, P2P, P2D, Tax, and Treasury, with the ability to manage financial processes across multiple systems and legal entities. SAP Finance and Process Architecture Expertise Proven experience in financial process management, SAP Central Finance (CFIN) implementation, and leading process design and governance through SAP Signavio, including business process mapping, SOPs, controls, and documentation. Governance, Compliance and Project Leadership In-depth knowledge of financial processes, accounting standards, compliance requirements, and controls, combined with strong project management experience leading large-scale finance and technology transformation initiatives. Strategic Leadership and Stakeholder Management Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams, complemented by exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
