Responsibilities: Serve as the tech lead and software architect for the FFT (Freudenberg Filtration Technologies) digital platform on Azure, with end-to-end responsibility for the design, development, and delivery of all core business applications including stable, secure and scalable services Building an in-house development team while managing and leading existing third-party development providers from day one. Lead the technical vision, architecture, and hands-on development of innovative, scalable, and secure software solutions, collaborating closely with digital product owners and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives and functional requirements into robust technical solutions Drive the full software development lifecycle, ensuring best practices in software engineering, code quality, delivery Applying agile project management practices to manage cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of development milestones, aligning outcomes with defined quality and business expectations Identify opportunities for innovation, especially in data-driven applications, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and advanced analytics, to maximize business value Ensure UpToDate tech stack and maintenance of existing solutions (example certificate management, data chain of sensors, gateways and cloud, complex incident resolution, and technical escalations) Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a related field from Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges 8 years of experience in IT industry with experience in IT software development, software architecture design with Azure DevOps or services, experience in leading software development teams Strong background in modern software engineering practices (CI or CD - Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery or Deployment, DevOps for software, automated testing, code reviews, security) Experience in AI (Artificial Intelligence) will be a plus: using AI for software development and developing AI applications Own the software architecture and technical roadmap and innovation funnel for the FFT digital platform, ensuring modern, maintainable, and extensible solutions. Deliver software engineering projects on scope, quality, time and budget and setting standards for code quality, design patterns, and good practices Oversee the design, implementation, and support of the applications, with a strong focus on software development. Management of inhouse software development team and supervision of external developers. Ensure UpToDate tech stack and maintenance of existing solutions (e.g., certificate management, data chain of sensors, gateways and cloud, complex incident resolution, and technical escalations) Excellent communication and collaboration skills and Fluency in English, additional language skills appreciated INR 25 - 27 Lacs Per Annum, Compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role's responsibilities‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
