Job Summary:** The Test Engineering Technician at Jabil, Inc. supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of test solutions for various electronic products. This role involves assisting engineers in troubleshooting, calibrating, and performing preventive maintenance on test equipment and systems to ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Job Responsibilities:** * Perform complex troubleshooting and repair of test equipment, fixtures, and systems down to the component level. * Assist Test Engineers in the development, validation, and optimization of new test processes and equipment. * Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on a wide range of test equipment, including automated test equipment (ATE), in-circuit testers (ICT), functional testers, and associated fixtures. * Calibrate test equipment according to established procedures and maintain accurate calibration records. * Collect and analyze test data, identify trends, and report findings to the engineering team. * Support production lines by providing immediate technical assistance for test-related issues, minimizing downtime. * Assist in the documentation of test procedures, work instructions, and equipment manuals. * Participate in root cause analysis for test failures and implement corrective actions. * Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures. * Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and engineering. Job Qualifications:** * Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. * 2+ years of experience in a test technician role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics. * Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and test methodologies. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams. * Hands-on experience with various test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and function generators. * Familiarity with automated test equipment (ATE) and in-circuit test (ICT) platforms is highly desirable. * Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis. * Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues systematically. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). *Knowledge on 3-phase power circuit. *Electrical experience in dealing power circuits is an advantage. *Knowledge in handling HIPOT, Thermal testers and Functional Testers. *PM and equipment calibration is a plus factor.
