This Cost Quote Analyst position will be responsible for generating custom manufactured media cost quotes. This role will closely interact and partner with Operations Teams. What you will do: Provide Cost Quotes for all custom manufactured material (LIQ & DPM, AGT) Update/modify common cost matrices used for product pricing Review items that can be added to matrices based on time/accuracy payback Work with cost accounting on issues with cost and routing hours Work with purchasing on updated costing to ensure that the most up to date information is being used Work with product management and other groups on creation of “what if” cost scenarios for new customers Partner with business to ensure alignment between ops and division on cost structure Special projects as determined by manager. How will you get here: Requirements: Need medium to advanced Excel skills, with experience driving enhancements to models and templates. Experience with a high number of transactions and tight deadlines in a demanding work environment Technical high school degree or College Bachelor student related with the position. 4 years of experience in similar positions, with a preference for Cost Accounting experience. B2 English Level. JD Edwards ERP system is a strong preference. Salesforce experience preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: An eye toward continuous improvement with a successful track record of optimizing processes.
