Position Summary: At Trend Micro, we are evolving our digital workplace by focusing on data-driven decision-making, improving employee experiences, and maximizing the use of daily tools and platforms. As part of our strategic transformation, we're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automation Intern to assist in enhancing internal workflows and IT processes. This internship is a great opportunity to learn hands-on automation practices and explore how technology enables efficiency across a global organization. Responsibilities: Assist in identifying and documenting repetitive tasks that can be streamlined using automation. Support the design and development of simple workflows using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate or Excel macros. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with IT and business units to understand automation requirements. Help test, validate, and document new automation features and workflows. Create internal documentation, presentations, and reports related to process improvement. Learn how enterprise applications are integrated and automated to reduce manual workload. Gain exposure to cybersecurity and compliance considerations in IT automation. Qualifications: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field Strong interest in technology, automation, and digital transformation. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Power Automate or scripting is a plus. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Bonus (Not required, but nice to have): Completed coursework in data structures, programming, or systems analysis Exposure to any automation or workflow tools (e.g., Zapier, Power Automate, basic scripting) Interest in IT, cybersecurity, or digital transformation trends Be Passionate.
