This Position reports to: Senior Engineering Manager Your role and responsibilities Senior Engineering Manager for PMS is responsible for leading and managing the Power Management System (PMS) sales support team and engineering management of large PMS project work packages at our global engineering center. The role oversees the end-to-end bid lifecycle including technical proposal development, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), site surveys, and pre-FEED studies for PMS projects. Additionally, this role provides engineering leadership for major project delivery workstreams, ensuring technical excellence, schedule adherence, and cost-effective execution. The incumbent will act as a single point of contact for Local Divisions (LDs) and project teams across the globe during pre-sales, bid, and project execution phases. This role requires strong engineering management, bid management, and project delivery background with proven ability to build and develop high-performing technical teams. The work model for the role is # LI - Hybrid. This role is contributing to the to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India You will be mainly accountable for: You will be mainly accountable for: Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process for PMS projects, ensuring technical and commercial excellence. Coordinate bid strategy with LDs and sales teams. Oversee the planning and execution of Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) studies, site survey activities, feasibility studies, concept design, and gap analyses for PMS projects. Engineering delivery for large, complex PMS project work packages from design phase through implementation and commissioning. Define and establish engineering governance, standards, and quality gates for project delivery and Manage technical interfaces between disciplines and external stakeholders. Define operating guidelines and engineering standards for the PMS team and Provide technical oversight on PMS, IEC 61850, 800xA integration, and related technologies. You will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role Minimum 12–15 years of experience in power management systems or industrial automation. At least 5–7 years in a team lead or management role, with direct responsibility for engineering teams. Demonstrated experience in bid/proposal management for complex PMS, ECS, or automation projects and hands-on knowledge of FEED, site surveys, and pre-engineering study phases. Proven track record in leading large project work packages for complex systems and experience working in or with global Operation Centers (preferred). Exposure to Oil & Gas, Marine, Mining, or Process Industries segments is an advantage. Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering.
