Job Function: Supply Chain Planning Job Sub Function: Integrated Business Planning Job Category: People Leader All Job Posting Locations: Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan Job Description: Evaluates demands from internal customers and prepares comprehensive demand plan for specific business unit(s) / product line(s). Maintains appropriate target reorder points to meet business fill rate targets while minimizing inventory investment. Participates in development of long term strategic. Facilitates interim forecast discussions and updates with supply chain partners and internal cross-functional business partners (marketing, sales, finance) to clarify demand requirements and drive improvements in forecast accuracy. Conducts monthly demand business reviews. Implements and manages forecasting software and supporting systems. Manages data integrity processes and follows current compliance regulations and standards. Develops and reviews performance metrics in areas of quality, cost, and delivery in support of the key supplier scorecards and business reviews. Coordinates the analysis of monthly demand to ensure accuracy and identify trends. Resolves gaps between financial forecast and statistical forecast. Recommends when work should be outsourced if demand is projected to exceed capacity. Produces and reviews monthly reports within specified time frames. Researches, recommends and implements multiple statistical models to develop and drive consensus forecasts for assigned business segments. ______________________________________________________________________ For internal Applicants: If you are Japan employee, please read “Internal Application Guideline” in Ask GS.
