Job Details: Job Description: As a PM Firmware Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Intel's SoCs, driving innovation in constrained environments that require strategic architectural decisions and Power Management understanding. By creating robust firmware and HW interfaces, you will influence the development of next-generation Intel CPUs ensuring products conform to the highest power efficiencies and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define boundaries, explore emerging trends, and deliver impactful solutions that align with Intel's mission of advancing and innovative computing. *Work Model: 4 days Onsite. Key Responsibilities: Define architectural frameworks for embedded firmware, emphasizing secured and high-performance solutions. Translate complex product-level requirements into detailed firmware-level documentation and spec. Develop algorithms and design patterns for interaction with other firmware and software entities and external software components. Lead efforts in vulnerability assessment and threat analysis to identify gaps and define solutions to close them. Work closely with firmware engineering teams to provide specs., validate feature design and implementation and ensure alignment with architectural intent. Provide education and training on Intel's features and firmware practices. Collaborate with engineering teams to assess the feasibility of new technology adoption. Drive research initiatives to promote innovative solutions and contribute to Intel's product roadmap. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. At least 8 years of experience with firmware development in C/C++. At least 3 years of experience in firmware architecture or system-level design, with a broad architectural view across hardware, firmware, and software interfaces. In-depth knowledge of embedded system mitigations, including RTOS. Ability to write clear, coherent, and implementable firmware requirements documentation. Hands-on experience writing firmware code for ARM or Xtensa CPUs under RTOS and/or bare metal firmware.
