Senior Solution Architect
Red Hat · Mexico City
Job description
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Senior Account Solution Architect to join us in Mexico City, Mexico. In this role, you will be helping our customers accelerate their business with Red Hat’s hybrid cloud offerings through technical presentations and solution demonstrations. You’ll build relationships with customers, account managers, and product teams to design and architect new solutions using the leading enterprise Kubernetes platform, built for managing hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and edge-network deployments. Red Hat OpenShift is optimized to improve developer productivity and promote innovation while facilitating the management of increasingly complex environments. As a Senior Account Solution Architect, you’ll demonstrate the ability to connect technology with measurable business value for customers across many industries, ranging from medium to large businesses. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges to drive revenue growth and Red Hat awareness together with our partners. What you will do: Strategic Account Mapping: Act as the trusted technical advisor for designated enterprise accounts in Mexico (FSI, Retail, or Manufacturing), aligning Red Hat’s open-source portfolio with the client’s long-term business transformation and digital strategy. Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Architecture: Design scalable, resilient hybrid and multi-cloud architectures leveraging Red Hat OpenShift and Ansible, optimizing integration with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) operating within local data regions in Mexico. Business Case & Value Realization: Build robust technical business cases, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses, and ROI models to justify legacy modernization (e.g., migrating from WebSphere/WebLogic) to cloud-native platforms for C-level executives. Data Sovereignty & Compliance: Ensure all proposed architectures comply with Mexican corporate governance, local data residency requirements, and industry-specific regulations. Executive Storytelling: Translate complex microservices, automation, and Kubernetes architectures into clear, value-driven business outcomes for CxO-level audiences. Own the technical win for each sales opportunity by proving through demonstrations, architectural workshops, and deep-dive discussions how the Red Hat portfolio solves complex customer problems. Orchestrate the overall technical approach across all phases of the customer lifecycle—from initial value definition to ongoing value recognition—ensuring continuous adoption and software renewal. What you will Bring Experience: 8+ years of experience in a Senior Pre-Sales, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting role, successfully managing complex IT environments for Top 100 corporate accounts in Mexico. Proven Consultative Selling and Whiteboarding skills: Ability to capture a client's current 'Technical Landscape' live and design a future-state architecture on the spot. Cross-functional execution: Demonstrated ability to act as the primary technical point of contact, coordinating with internal product specialists, partners, and Customer Success teams to deliver a unified strategy. Language Proficiency: Native or bilingual fluency in Spanish and full professional proficiency in English (essential for collaborating with global product engineering and regional leadership teams). Travel Mobility: Willingness to travel up to 30-40% within the Mexican territory, primarily to key business hubs such as Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Querétaro, based on account requirements. Technical Skills / Requirements Enterprise Tech Stack: Deep hands-on experience with Enterprise Linux (RHEL), IT automation (Ansible), and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes / Red Hat OpenShift).
