Job Description: Design and development a wide variety of full custom analog circuits, including amplifiers, simple ADCs, References, IOs, Oscillators and power management systems. Perform detailed circuit simulations and analysis using industry-standard tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Cadence Spectre). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design specifications and deadlines are met. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate, guide, and review layout implementations to ensure performance, matching, and reliability requirements are met. Collaborate with digital design, verification, and test engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration Support the testing and validation of prototypes, including troubleshooting and debugging. Document design processes, simulation results, and technical specifications. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve design practices. Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Bachelor’s in any one of the following disciplines - Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, field is preferred. Master’s in any one of the following disciplines - Applied Electronics, VLSI Design, Communication Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in analog IC design. Fundamental understanding of semiconductor device physics. Strong understanding of analog circuit design principles and methodologies. Proficiency in using industry-standard EDA tools for analog and mixed circuit design, simulation, and layout (e.g. Cadence Virtuoso) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to learn and operate some Microchip specific internal software tools. Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with modern process nodes (e.g., 55nm, 22nm). Knowledge of mixed-signal design and verification methodologies. Familiarity with layout techniques for matching, noise isolation, and parasitic management.
