This Position reports to: Service Manager Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the Service portfolio is delivered effectively according to ABB standard processes and safety guidelines to satisfy customers. Each day, you will execute technical support, act as a specialist, and solve problems in your own area of expertise. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams proactively to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for service growth. Major responsibilities includeProcess machine insulation condition-monitoring data received from the field using ABB tools and to interpret the results to diagnose equipment condition. Prepare expert reports for customers which include practical recommendations and mitigation measures. Coordinating with field testing engineers to collect right data for analysis and at times getting involved in field testing. Actively participate in the process of automation of routine analysis, reducing the time for report generation. Perform all activities in compliance with contract specifications, ABB quality standards, and safety requirements. The work model for the role is: #Li_Onsite This role is contributing to the This role is contributing to the Motion business based at Bangalore, India: You will be mainly accountable for:Providing technical support and solving problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service in any Service category. Determining effective Service applications, equipment, and methods to develop, market, or manufacture new Service offerings to respond to customer requirements cost-effectively. Providing technical consulting on Service solutions to management and customers. Identifying new sales opportunities, proactively communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for service growth.
