Role Summary The Manager, Channel Operations and Analytics is responsible for driving distributor performance, channel governance, commercial planning, and operational excellence across AMD APAC distributor markets. The role serves as the regional lead for channel operations, distributor management processes, contract governance, forecasting, business analytics, and commercial excellence initiatives. Working closely with Country Managers, Enterprise Sales Managers, Finance, IBP, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Regional Leadership, the incumbent ensures effective execution of commercial strategies and alignment with regional business objectives. The position acts as a key interface between APAC commercial teams, distributor partners, and Global Commercial Excellence teams, driving process standardization, business insights, performance management, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across the region. Key Responsibilities Channel Operations & Distributor Management Develop and implement channel operating frameworks and governance standards across APAC distributor markets. Lead distributor network planning, performance management, and operational reviews. Drive optimization of distributor operating models to improve market coverage, efficiency, and profitability. Oversee distributor onboarding, performance evaluation, development, and offboarding processes. Partner with Country Managers to ensure effective execution of channel programs and commercial initiatives. Coordinate distributor training, capability development, and sales enablement activities. Ensure distributor operations comply with regional and global commercial policies and operating standards. Distributor Performance & Governance Own the APAC distributor performance management framework, including KPI tracking, scorecards, benchmarking, and governance processes. Support country and regional team business reviews and performance discussions with distributors. Monitor and analyze distributor sales, inventory, sell-in, sell-out, forecast accuracy, and market performance. Identify performance gaps and drive corrective actions and improvement initiatives. Manage distributor incentive programs and monitor effectiveness against business objectives. Ensure compliance with pricing policies, contractual commitments, and commercial operating procedures. Commercial Planning & Forecasting Lead forecasting and planning processes across APAC distributor markets. Partner with Finance, IBP, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to improve forecast accuracy and business visibility. Monitor business performance against plans and provide insights on risks, opportunities, and corrective actions. Support Gross Margin Improvement (GMI) initiatives through effective forecasting, pricing governance, and channel management. Contract Management & Commercial Compliance Manage distributor contract governance, renewal planning, approval processes, and compliance reviews. Ensure distributor agreements align with corporate policies, legal requirements, and business objectives. Partner with Legal, Finance, and Commercial stakeholders to facilitate contract execution and risk management. Maintain oversight of contract renewal pipelines and ensure timely completion of renewals and amendments. Drive continuous improvement of contract management processes and governance controls. Ensure proper documentation, record management, and audit readiness across distributor agreements. Commercial Effectiveness & Business Analytics Lead deployment and adoption of commercial effectiveness initiatives across APAC distributor markets. Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI scorecards, and management reporting to support business decision-making. Consolidate and analyze data from Sales, Pricing, Finance, IBP, and Commercial Operations to generate actionable insights. Identify opportunities to improve productivity, forecasting accuracy, channel performance, and operational efficiency. Standardize commercial reporting, performance management processes, and governance practices across the region. Support regional leadership with business reviews, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations. Strategic Projects & Continuous Improvement Lead regional projects focused on channel optimization, operational efficiency, portfolio management, and gross margin improvement. Support implementation of global commercial excellence and business transformation initiatives within APAC. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and manage project governance, timelines, risks, and reporting. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance distributor effectiveness and operational performance. Key Success Measures Achievement of distributor revenue, growth, and profitability objectives. Forecast accuracy and planning effectiveness across APAC distributor markets. Distributor KPI attainment and performance improvement. On-time completion of distributor contract renewals and compliance requirements. Gross Margin Improvement (GMI) delivery and pricing governance effectiveness. Successful deployment of commercial effectiveness programs and operating standards. Timely delivery of strategic projects and transformation initiatives. Improvements in distributor productivity, operational efficiency, and channel governance. Quality and impact of business insights provided to country and regional leadership teams. Preferred Experience & Capabilities Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sciences, or related disciplines. MBA degree is advantageous. 12-15 years of experience in managing distributor networks in healthcare, diagnostics, medical devices, life sciences, or related industries. Strong analytical, forecasting, and business performance management capabilities. Experience in contract administration, governance, and compliance processes. Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across multiple markets. Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, CRM systems, and reporting tools. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed regional organization.
